Though The War has Begun is a work of fiction, the people and events were real. Part of my work for the book included genealogical research to learn the age and sufficient history of each person. Extensive cast. Can’t wait for the book. Potential problem? You omitted the usual suspects: Revere, Hancock, Adams, and Gage.

  2. Well, the usual suspects are all well-known, and there is not much point in me writing about them when others have already done so admirably.

Besides, I don’t recall hearing that Hancock, Adams, Gage, or Revere ever pulled a trigger in the defense of, or pursuit of Liberty. Over twenty of the patriots in the list above did, and some did so many times. Instead of the generals and founders, I wanted to write about those who fought the war, and imagine the sort of experience they had, or that you or I might have had if we had lived then.
